Basque Regional Dinner

 

On Thursday 30 October, we’re celebrating the French Basque Country, a region where the Atlantic meets the Pyrenees, known for its seaside towns, bold flavours and vibrant traditions.

It’s a place where Biarritz draws surfers and holidaymakers, Bayonne is alive with festivals and charcuterie, and fishing ports like Saint-Jean-de-Luz bring the day’s catch straight to the table. From the coastline to the hills, the food is as spirited as the culture.

Our menu features a traditional Talo flatbread with hake, La Basquaise Galette with marinated chicken and slow-cooked peppers and the indulgence of a Burnt Basque Cheesecake Crêpe. It’s a taste of the Basque region, brought to Bowral for one night only.
